Can I buy this SPIKPA/IG for my domestic maid insurance?
No. SPIKPA and the Insurance Guarantee are for foreign workers employed by a registered company, so they do not apply to domestic helpers. Immigration uses a personal bond for domestic helpers instead.

What employers of a domestic helper need
- Who can apply: employers with children under 15 or sick parents. The helper must be female, aged 21–45, from an approved country (including Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Nepal).
- Personal bond: Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia RM250 · Philippines, Sri Lanka, India, Nepal RM750 · Laos, Vietnam RM1,500.
- FOMEMA within one month of arrival.
- PERKESO registration is compulsory (since 1 June 2021).
- Medical costs during the PLKS are the employer's responsibility.
- Not covered by the minimum wage order or compulsory EPF. Indonesian helpers have a minimum salary of RM1,500 under bilateral terms.
