# Can I claim if worker is asked to transfer to private hospital.

Yes, **a claim is allowed only under specific conditions**:
1. The **transfer must be instructed or advised** by the **attending doctor** at the government hospital.
2. The worker must have been **admitted at the government hospital for at least 12 hours** before the transfer.
3. The attending doctor must issue a **transfer or referral letter** stating the **medical reason for the transfer**.


⚠️ **Important:**
* Claims for treatment at a private hospital are on a **reimbursement basis only,** they are **not cashless**.
* You must submit the **transfer letter**, **medical bills**, **receipts**, and other required claim documents for processing.
