# How long is the FWCMS ITR valid for me to purchase the insurance?

| Ensure that your insurance purchase is completed **within 14 days** to avoid system errors or failure in updating the FWCMS status.

### Validity Period of the ITR Number

Your **ITR number is valid for 14 days** from the date it was generated in FWCMS. After this period:

* The ITR will no longer valid
* You will need to **generate a new ITR** in FWCMS before making any insurance purchase

||| Even if the FWCMS status still shows *"ITR Generated"* after 14 days, that ITR **cannot be used anymore.**    Please contact FWCMS to abort the application in the system, in order to generate a **new ITR**.
