# "Request contains invalid data. Employer ROC Number not found or it is Invalid"

If you receive the error message ***"Request contains invalid data. Employer ROC Number not found or it is Invalid"***, it means that the **SSM number you entered does not match** the record in the FWCMS system.

### Main Cause of the Error
The SSM number entered is **different from the one registered in FWCMS**. The FWCMS system recognizes two SSM number formats:

| Type of SSM Number | Example Format |
| ---- |
| **New SSM Number** | `20190123123121` |
| **Old SSM Number** | `123456-W` or `123456W` |

### What You Should Do
✔ Check which SSM number format is registered in FWCMS (old or new).  
✔ Enter the **matching number** exactly as it appears in the FWCMS record.  
✔ Try submitting again after making the correction.
