# What happens if the ITR expires?

| Ensure that your insurance purchase is completed **within 14 days** to avoid system errors or failure in updating the FWCMS status.

### Validity Period of the ITR Number

**If the 14-day period has expired:**
* The ITR is considered invalid.
* The employer must generate a new ITR in FWCMS.
* Only a valid ITR can be used for the purchase of SPIKPA / IG insurance.
If the status in FWCMS still shows **“ITR Generated”**, please contact FWCMS to cancel the existing application and generate a new ITR.

||| Ensure that the insurance purchase is made **before the ITR expiry date** to avoid any disruption to the permit renewal process.
