Buying without an ITR: when it applies and how it works

Most permit renewals go through FWCMS and need an ITR. This page is only for:

  • Renewals JIM has told you to do at the counter, not in FWCMS.
  • Special Pass (SP), Rehiring or RTK cases that JIM is handling outside FWCMS.

Not sure which applies to you? Ask JIM first, or WhatsApp us on 011-5621 6906 and our team checks it with you.

How to buy without an ITR

  1. On tr.ee/einsurans, skip the ITR section and go to Employer Details.
  2. Upload the worker Excel file first, then fill in the company details. Uploading clears anything typed before it. With only one worker, you can key in the details instead, clicking Update and Add after each worker.
  3. Look for "Upload Successful" under Employer Particulars; that means the file went in.

  1. Type the Period of Cover start date in both the SPIKPA and the IG sections. For SP, Rehiring and RTK, use today's date or the day you submit.
  2. Only need SPIKPA? Tick only Foreign Worker Hospitalisation and Surgical Scheme and untick the Insurance Guarantee.
  3. Pay, then WhatsApp us your SKHPPA policy number for the SPIKPA slip you need at the JIM counter. It is ready about 1–2 hours after the policy is issued.

Filling in the Excel file

Each column has floating instructions to guide you.

If something goes wrong

  1. "Upload Aborted": the Excel file has a formatting error. WhatsApp us the file and our team corrects it with you.
  2. "Worker had been blacklisted": usually an expired passport or unpaid government hospital bills in the worker's name. Check with JIM, or WhatsApp us and we work out the next step.
