Can I claim if worker is asked to transfer to private hospital.
Yes, a claim is allowed only under specific conditions:
- The transfer must be instructed or advised by the attending doctor at the government hospital.
- The worker must have been admitted at the government hospital for at least 12 hours before the transfer.
- The attending doctor must issue a transfer or referral letter stating the medical reason for the transfer.
⚠️ Important:
- Claims for treatment at a private hospital are on a reimbursement basis only — they are not cashless.
- You must submit the transfer letter, medical bills, receipts, and other required claim documents for processing.
