Can I claim if worker is asked to transfer to private hospital.

Yes, a claim is allowed only under specific conditions:

  1. The transfer must be instructed or advised by the attending doctor at the government hospital.
  2. The worker must have been admitted at the government hospital for at least 12 hours before the transfer.
  3. The attending doctor must issue a transfer or referral letter stating the medical reason for the transfer.

⚠️ Important:

  • Claims for treatment at a private hospital are on a reimbursement basis only — they are not cashless.
  • You must submit the transfer letter, medical bills, receipts, and other required claim documents for processing.
