1. Government Hospital Admission (Cashless)

If your foreign worker is admitted to a government hospital in Malaysia, just follow these steps:

  1. Present the worker’s passport at the admission counter.
  2. The hospital will verify SPIKPA insurance Malaysia validity through their system.
  3. Once confirmed, the hospital will handle billing directly with the insurer’s third-party provider.

⚠️ Note: Sometimes hospitals may request a deposit depending on the condition or specific procedures.
You may later submit a reimbursement claim for eligible costs within coverage limits.

What is considered as Government Hospital?

  • Any non-corporatized Malaysian Government Hospital.
  • Not covered: Semi-government institutions (e.g. PPUM, UKM, UiTM) and all private hospitals.
