In most cases, you cannot purchase SPIKPA IG insurance without first registering in FWCMS.
Registration and submission of your application in the Foreign Worker Centralised Management System (FWCMS) is mandatory for foreign worker permit renewal in Malaysia.
Exception (Special Cases Only)
In rare situations, purchases without FWCMS registration may be allowed only if advised by an officer from the Immigration Department of Malaysia (JIM). These cases are evaluated individually and are not standard practice.
