Where do I obtain FWCMS ITR number to purchase insurance SPIKPA IG on eInsurans?
IMPORTANT NOTE: Starting 1 February 2025, all foreign worker permit applications must be made through the FWCMS system. You can log in using your EPLKS@JIM ID to access FWCMS.
Purchase SPIKPA IG using FWCMS ITR on the official eInsurans website: đź”— https://tr.ee/einsurans
You can generate the ITR number from FWCMS after registering your worker’s PLKS application. The ITR number will be emailed only to the email address registered in FWCMS (either the PIC or employer’s email).
1. Click “Generate ITR No.” in the FWCMS System
In FWCMS, under the Insurance Purchase Step, click “Generate ITR No.”

2. Click “I Understand”

3. Select “Offline Self Insurance Purchase”
Choose “Offline Purchase Insurance – Self insurance purchase” and click “Proceed.”

⚠️ If you select “Need assistance to purchase insurance”, you will have to wait for FWCMS to contact you. For self-purchase at the eInsurans portal, please select “Offline Self insurance purchase.”
4. Click “Proceed”

5. Receive ITR Number via Email from FWCMS
You will receive an email containing your ITR number, as shown below:

6. Log In to eInsurans and Enter ITR & SSM Numbers
Visit: https://tr.ee/einsurans or contact our team via WhatsApp.
Select Tokio Marine / Lonpac / Generali Insurance and key in:
- ITR for IG
- ITR for SPIKPA
- SSM Number
- (After pressing Submit, employer details will appear automatically. Enter SSM & TIN numbers if required.)

7. Update “Period of Cover” and Select Immigration Office
Employer and worker details will appear automatically. You only need to update the Period of Cover (insurance start date):
- Set it to 1 day after the permit expiry date (Example: Permit expiry 30/06/2025 → set to 01/07/2025)
- If the permit has already expired, set it to today’s date


For the Immigration Office field, select the branch according to your business address state.
8. Make Online Insurance Payment
Click Next → Payment to proceed with online payment.
Once payment is successful, you can download the policy immediately, and the system will auto-email a copy to you.
If you click Print Quotation, please note that the system does not save your previous data, so you will need to re-enter ITR, SSM, period of cover, and immigration details.

After payment, you can download the policy from the website and receive a copy via email.
9. After Insurance Purchase — Wait for FWCMS Status Update
After purchasing insurance via eInsurans, you will receive:
- An email notification from FWCMS titled “Insurance Purchase Successful”
- The application status in FWCMS will change to:
- “Insurance Purchased” or “Pending JIM Approval”
Usually takes 10 minutes to a few hours for status to update at FWCMS. If it remains “ITR Generated” after 10 minutes, please WhatsApp us for assistance.

Once the status changes to “Insurance Purchased”, the renewal process will continue automatically.
The employer or PIC only needs to wait for FWCMS to complete processing and send an update email.
